Kallicrate Collection

As a tribute to the great freedom of stylistic solutions distinguishing today’s spirit, Cesa 1882 proposes a fusion of past and present, of classical style and new trends in Kallicrate collection.

There is something ancient, indeed something new in this original collection named after Kallicrate, one of the architects who designed the Parthenon, the outright symbol of classical Greek architecture. In the collection’s objects the Ionic capital decoration with its unmistakable spirally coiled volute is often found, conjuring up the sublime beauty of Athen in the age of Pericles.

The Ionic capital decoration is inserted in cone-shaped or linear objects and creates an appropriate combination of contemporary minimalist taste and classical elegance, an aesthetical balance making any environment a special place.
